Re-Open an Exam Attempt

Learn to reopen an existing assignment attempt.

Notes: Re-opening an exam attempt allows a student to access an attempt they have already submitted. Students can then choose to either resubmit the exam with their previously selected answer choices, or select new answer choices for that exam.

How-To Guide

  • Select Courses on the left hand side in global navigation, then select All Courses.
    • If you're an admin, make sure you have selected the correct school
      and course within that school.

  • Select the course you want to work in.
    Select the Assignments tab. Then, select the exam you want to add an attempt for.

  • Select Speed Grader.

  • Select the student and the question you want to re-open attempts for.

  • Select Re-Open Attempt.

NOTE: Then you will see an attempt has been re-opened for that student.
