Learn to use the Snapshot custom LTI
Notes: This feature is specific to users on StrongMind's Instance of Canvas only.
StrongMind's Snapshot LTI historically runs slowly, and wait time increases in relation to the number of students enrolled in a course.
Snapshot and other custom StrongMind LTI's (indicated with a💡lightbulb icon in the navigation) must be enabled by the StrongMind team. To determine if these LTI's are available for your account, or to enable a custom LTI, please reach out to your CSM.
How-To Access Snapshot:
- Select Dashboard in the global navigation.
- Select the course you want to work in. Then, select Snapshot in the course navigation.
How-To Utilize Snapshot:
Key
- Average Score: This box provides the class average score overall.
- Course Progress: This box provides the average progress made in the course. Selecting the link will open a progress overview page that will allow you to select and view individual student progress by unit.
- Assignments Need Grading: This box will show you how many assignments need you attention. Selecting the link will take you directly to the gradebook.
- Students Active Today: This box will show you how many students were active in the course that day. Please Note: his data is generated by page views, not just submitted assignments. Selecting the link will provide you will analytics for all student activity.
- Student Details: This window provides a birds eye view of actively enrolled students including course progress, current score, and last day active.
- Download CSV: This link will allow you to download the CSV file for current data found within Snapshot.
