Add Attempts for Assignments, Quizzes and Exams Using SpeedGrader

Learn to add attempts to assignments, quizzes, and exams.

Notes: Quizzes are teacher created assignments in native Canvas.

How-To Guide

  • Select Courses in the Global Navigation, then select All Courses. 
  • Select the course you want to work in.
  • Select the Grades tab.

  • Select the assignment you wish to add attempts to.

  • Select the SpeedGrader icon In the assignment view window.

  • Select the student name in the upper right hand corner to open a drop down menu and select the name you would like to add attempts for.

  • Select Add Attempt.

NOTE: When a new attempt is added, you'll see an Attempt Added notification. You can also see the number of attempts remaining for a student.
