*NEW!* Using Screen Capture in SpeedGrader

Objective: Learn how to use the new screen capture feature in the speedgrader window.

Notes: Closed captions may not be generated instantaneously and may require some time to process and appear.

How-To Guide

  • Select a course to provide feedback in or an assignment from the To Do section of the dashboard.

  • Select the assignment you would like to provide feedback for.

  • Select SpeedGrader.

  • Select the Screen Capture ( Screenshot 2024-06-17 at 2.21.38 PM.png )icon in the side window.

 

  • Open the drop down menu for Sub Accounts.

  • Select Screen Capture.

  • Select Enable.

  • Select what you would like to cast while recording feedback. You can select Chrome Tab, Window, or Entire Screen from the top. When you have chosen, select Share.

  • Select Start Recording.

  • This will show you the selected document or window which you can move around within as you record.
  • An indicator will let you know that recording is in progress.
  • Select Finish Recording when you are done.

  • Name your recording. Then, select Save Media.

  • Your screen capture recording will now be visible in the side window. You can preview it by selecting the recoding.

  • Students will now see their screen capture feedback in their Recent Feedback section of the dashboard.
