Objective: Learn how to edit the settings for modules in a course. 

Notes: Managing module settings allows teachers to adjust the way students progress through lessons in a course. You can choose to require students to view the lesson, contribute to a discussion, submit an assignment or earn a set score before progressing onto the next lesson.

How-To Guide

• Select Courses
• Select the Modules tab
• Then select the three dots and select Edit

• In Edit Module settings, you have a few options:
  • Lock the module until a specific date
  • Select the box next to Lock until.
  • Then select a date.
  • Select Update Module.

• Select what a student must do in order to move onto the following content.
  • Select the drop-down next to the content.
  • Select from the menu.
  • Select Update Module
