Copy a Course in Canvas

Objective: Learn to copy a course in Canvas.

Notes: Copying a course is different than associating a course from the blueprint master. To associate a course, read the article linked below.

How-To Guide

  • Select Courses on the left hand side, then select All Courses.
  • If you're an admin, make sure you have selected the correct school
    and course within that school.

  • Select the course you want to work in.

  • Scroll down and select the Settings tab on the left hand side.

  • Select Copy this Course.

  • Insert the course start and end date, as well as any other information. Then, select the Create Course button.
