Objective: Learn to create a course section.
Notes: Sections can be used to create alternative due dates for students. Students in sections can be re-added to the general course group at any time.

How-To Guide: Create a New Section
- Select Courses on the left hand side in global navigation, then select All Courses.
- If you're an admin, make sure you have selected the correct school
and course within that school.
- Select Settings.
- Select Sections.
- Type the name of your new section. Then, select + Section.
Your new section will appear under Course Sections.
How-To Guide: Edit A Section
- Select the title of the section you wish to edit. Then, select the Edit Section button.
- Edit the content you wish to change. You can opt to give your section a start and end date that varies from the course date. Note: This may override the term settings.
- Select Update Section.
