Grading Teacher Graded Items in Buzz

Learn how to grade teacher graded items and add them to your Buzz Gradebook.

Notes: StrongMind curriculum is roughly 80% computer graded and 20% teacher graded. You can find the location of teacher graded items in the Teacher Resource Guide in your course. There is a document that will detail specific units, lessons, and activities that need your attention.

 

How-To Guide

  • From your Buzz teacher dashboard, select the "Needs Grading" icon.

  • Select the activity title. Take note of whose assignment you will be grading, as you will need to select their attempt in the next screen.

  • Select the most recent attempt for your selected student.

  • Select Grade Attempt.

  • Select the question(s) with the blue circle icon in questions. This will indicate a teacher graded item.

  • The score will be listed as 0 until you have changed it.
  • Use the Grading Notes, if available, to assist you in determining the score earned.

  • Assign a grade. If there are additional questions that require teacher grading, select then and score.

  • Select Review Changes.

  • Select Submit Changes to confirm.

  • This will auto-update your grade in the gradebook.
